House of Hope, South Florida, Inc. is a Christian, non-denominational, not-for-profit 501(C) 3 organization, affiliate of National House of Hope (NHOH), and a model of House of Hope, Orlando, founded by Sara Trollinger. As an affiliate of NHOH, we model our program after the one that has proven to be a success for the last twenty-five years; through replicating the model in Orlando, FL, House of Hope, South Florida will continue to bring healing to the lives of teenagers and their families.
As an affiliate of National House of Hope (NHOH), our program is modeled after their over twenty-five years of proven success. We are trained and guided by NHOH in starting and successfully operating HOHSFL. Our local House of Hope is accountable to NHOH’s leadership and instruction and is strengthened by the network of the Houses of Hope across the United States.
We believe it is time to open a residential facility because of the enormous needs we are seeing in the teens and their families in South Florida. We are currently fundraising to purchase Circle S Farm, located at 15990 Griffin Road in Southwest Ranches, FL. It is a premier southern Florida thoroughbred training/breeding farm situated on nearly 50 acres fully equipped to allow us to house, educate and mentor 13-17 year olds as we counsel and train their parents. This entirely fenced equestrian property is comprised of 2 single family homes totaling 9 bedrooms, 6 baths & a 7 car garage, outdoor pavilion, 3 barns totaling 88 stalls, 4 furlong training track, equestrian figure 8 pool, and equine surgery room. As part of their rehabilitation, the teens will have the experience of caring for wounded and abandoned horses as well as tending an organic farm.
